Greetings & Salutations,
I am writing to you as you have booked with us for Belladrum 2013. Dont bogard this mail. If you booked for someone else, please forward this mail to them. If your party is arriving in more than one car then please forward this mail to the other drivers too.

STOP PRESS: Please read all the way through as this email contains important information including car parking and wrist banding!
Thank you for booking with us. We are expecting you and looking forward to being your hosts at this great festival.

The Tipi Field remains the Quiet Zone:
Please remember to keep the noise down between 11pm and 8am. Anyone not respecting this will get one warning and then be asked to leave without refund!

Ready, Aim, Fire!
My apologies to all those who are in Bell tents rather than Tipis - we love you too but please ignore this bit about fires.
Belladrum is now the only public festival in the U.K that permits open fires in Tipis and we are the only company insured to provide that service.
There's nothing like sitting around a fire in a tipi.
Fires are amazing! With with our fire bowls, logs and simple instructions, anyone can put together a great fire.
Please read the attached pdf about fires. There will be a printed copy available for you in your tipi, but you can read this now rather than interrupting your party time.

Don't forget
to bring all those festival essentials. Some bedding, a pillow and sleeping bag each or covers and a duvet. Anti-bac, hand wipes, anti-midge, shower gel, a torch, a spare torch, spare batteries, warm clothes, wellies and waterproofs, sun cream, a spare change of clothes to be left in the car and of course, your favourite bear. 
Your tipi or bell tent will be furnished with a faux fur covered mattress and a chair for each member of your party. We'll also provide each tipi and bell tent with a lantern and tea lights and a few other bits and bobs. Please pick these up when you check-in.

Pull in, park and party
Please do NOT display the parking pass issued with your tickets - you will be directed to the wrong field - which is now some distance away from us. Please display the attached TIPI PARKING car pass.
Bringing you the best of both worlds, easy unloading, your car parked nearby and no cars in the tipi field itself.
This year, as in 2012, Tipi customers will get their festival wristbands from the V3 Box Office. Where hopefully you will find shorter queues!
On arrival at the festival you will be directed past the box offices for the other camping areas and on towards the Tipi Field (follow the signs for Disabled Camping).
At the top of the hill, at the junction where you turn left and drop down towards the tipi field, signed as V3, pull over into the lay-by and proceed to the cabin where there will be a box office window for Tipi customers and Disabled Campers. Here you will be able to accredit your Belladrum tickets and obtain your festival wristbands. Please don't forget to stop!!! If you carry on down to us without wristbands then you will need to walk back up the busy track to get wrist-banded later.
Once you have your wristbands please proceed down the hill to the tipi field, where you will be able to pull over, unload and check-in to your tipi.

Tipi Parking - limited
Tipi Parking is once again in the field opposite us, although we do not expect to be able to fit everyone in this year, so please try and limit the number of cars that you need to bring if possible. 
When the Tipi Car Park is full it will be closed and guests arriving later will be asked to drive round and park in the Green/Yellow car park.
You will be able to unload all your gear at the entrance to the Tipi field whatever the state of the Tipi Parking.
When you arrive please display the attached car pass and follow all directions given by the stewards to Tipi Parking, before you get into the car park you will pass the Tipi field, at the end of which is our lay-by. Please pull in and come to The Tipi Company reception.
We'll give you a hand carrying your gear to your tipi or bell tent. We'll also give you some safety information and answer any questions you might have about your accommodation.
While the rest of your party is getting settled in, you'll need to park your vehicle in the next field, and let the partying begin.
Tipi Parking - The field where you will be parking is the same as in previous years and is exclusively for Tipi Company customers.
Please print off and display the attached Belladrum Car Pass 2013.png - or if you prefer just write TIPI PARKING in big letters on a bit of card to display as you arrive at Belladrum.


NEW - Please can you write your order number and mobile phone number on your parking pass. It'll help us check you in quicker and we'll be able to get in touch with you quickly, if there are any car parking problems.

Food

Wild and exciting! We are excited to be welcoming Wild Rover Food into the tipi field, they will be set up next to tipi reception.
Please have a look at the attached menu and make a plan to have at least a couple of your meals with them. 


Showers

12 lovely hot showers this year, same as last year! They are all single unisex showers each with their own door. Please bring a towel etc.

Hopefully you have bought some...

Glass

Its strictly forbidden at the festival, please do not bring any.


Gazebos
If you have booked a premium spot, then we have reserved space for you to put up a gazebo. We are not providing gazebos this year, although we will have some that you will be able to purchase in reception (subject to availability), if you find that you have left yours behind.

Facebook

Some have found us, but not everyone. There's a bunch of photos on there from previous years and if you like us then you will be entered into a draw for a fine bottle of whiskey.

Check in is open
During your stay you can always contact us either at The Tipi Company reception or if unattended then on 07818 420 041 (greg) 07825 669 016 (jason).
We are open :
  • Thursday :  1 pm to 11pm
  • Friday     :  10am to 10pm
  • Saturday :  10am to 10pm
  • Sunday   :   8am to  12pm
Find us at Tipi Reception for more tea lights, firewood or batteries for your lantern if you run out during the weekend.
While we check and double check that everything is perfect, we do sometimes miss things, so if anything is missing or not exactly right about your tipi or bell tent, please let us know at reception as soon as possible so that we can put it right.

Check Out
The party officially finishes at 10 am on Sunday, but if you need a relaxed start to the day and want to wait for the queues to die down before departing, then thats OK too.
Please let us know when you leave. We need to make sure that we collect beds, chairs and lanterns without delay so that they don't go missing. When you check out we can verify that everything is present and correct and thereby safeguard you from further charges.

Please reply to this email to confirm receipt and if possible let me know when you expect to arrive at Belladrum. Please can you also make a jolly comment about birthdays, so that I know you've read the important stuff about where to pick up your festival wristbands.

Whats cooking at Belladrum this year?

We're excited to announce that Wild Rover Food will be gracing our tipi field with their excellent wild menu using quality food that is sustainably and locally sourced.

Is there phone charging at Belladrum?
We run some very informal phone charging at Belladrum and most people are happy to leave their phones at Tipi Reception to charge up.  Please bring a suitable mains charger.
 
When will my tipi be available at Belladrum?
The hire is for the whole weekend, ie the entire time Belladrum is open to the public, from Thursday midday until Sunday afternoon - we wont chase you away either, leave on Sunday when you feel ready.
 
What's the loyalty discount and how do I get it?

We love seeing our customers return, and we give everyone a little something to help that happen.

Since 2010, at Belladrum, every returning customer enjoys a £50 discount on the cost of each tipi or bell tent that they book.

This is automatically applied and you will see a different price when you are logged into our website. If your email address has changed, please let me know so that I can update your account.

If you think that you are entitled to a discount and have not received it, please get in touch and we'll sort it out for you.
